Like his half brother Richebourg, Jus de Pomme, Shogun and Trésor d'Opaline , this Quintus is son of a phenomenal stockdam Opaline des Pins. So it is obvious that this miracle dam passes her genes to her sons.The Pavarotti son Quintus demonstratated in Aachen and in Dublin that he has the right international stuff and therefore he was selected for the Belgian team on the EC in Donauschingen where he got an excellent 4th place.
Mio de Baugy has been for years the best dressage horse in the BWP under the saddle of Johan Zagers, and today he is a great satisfaction in breeding as well.
Darwin's stock goes back to a KWPN dam Sagrieta , who has produced a lot of interesting breeding products, among which Pamina ( v Remondo, ) who jumps on the 1,40 m level in France.
Darwin himself was in the finals in the Open Vlaams Veulen Championschip in Evergem.
